An
iceberg in the Weddell Sea scatters blue light from its fresh sides, like
the sky. This is probably an overturned tabular (table-like) iceberg, calved
from a large ice shelf. Most of it is underwater, where it may extend farther
out, posing a hidden danger to ships.
